PR System One RemStar CPAP: Setting Pressure & Features | Remmer
The PR System One RemStar is a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine and humidifier. This model allows patients to position the machine anywhere around them at any angle and still receive the treatment due to the 360-degree swivel airway port. It also has a dim LED light so the patient is not awakened during sleep if the machine is placed directly at the head. The PR System One has an easy control knob so the pressure and other settings can be adjusted at any time after discussion with your doctor or respiratory therapist.
Instructions
Obtain the PR One RemStar CPAP machine and humidifier and disconnect the airway circuit hose from the top swivel port.
Turn on the machine and select the appropriate quadrant by turning the knob. Choose "Setup."
Press the "Arrow" key and knob together until the CPAP machine beeps two times. This will take you to a second menu.
Choose "Setup" on the menu and press the knob once more to be transferred to the clinician's "Setup" menu.
Scroll down with the knob and select the appropriate option. Press the knob to activate this option to adjust the pressures. If it is a bi-level machine, there will be IPAP and EPAP. IPAP will be the option to adjust to change pressure.
