- lethargy
- decreased or increased appetite
- mild inflammation of gums
- palpable lymph nodes
- dull hair coat
Signs of severe systemic diseases
- high or very low fever
- hypothermia
- severe depression or lack of response
- inability to stand
- pale gums
- dehydration
- rapid or difficult breathing
- vomiting or diarrhea
- excessive thirst
- dark urine
- seizures
