Understanding the PDP Signature Plan: Coverage & Benefits
PDP stands for Prescription Drug Plan. It is a list of prescription drugs that are covered under Medicare. There are multiple tiers of the plan. The two most common tiers are the "Classic" and "Signature" tiers. The Signature tier covers the most types of prescription drugs. It is important to ensure that a medication is covered under the PDP Signature plan to avoid expensive co-payments or having to pay for the entire medication out of pocket.
