Plague Symptoms: Recognizing the Warning Signs
Three symptoms of the plague are:
1. Fever: Most people with the plague experience a sudden onset of fever, which can reach up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius).
2. Swollen lymph nodes: The lymph nodes in the armpits, groin, and neck can become swollen and tender. This is called buboes.
3. Nausea and vomiting: Many people with the plague experience nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
