Do not take this medicine in larger amounts. Taking more of the medicine will not make it more effective and may very well cause liver or kidney damage. Do not take this medicine more than once every 12 hours unless your doctor tells you to do so. Ask a doctor before using any other drugs containing acetaminophen (sometimes abbreviated as APAP). Some drugs that contain acetaminophen include Dayquil LiquiCaps, FeverAll Regular Strength Tablets, Genapap Extra Strength, Mapap Extra Strength Tablets, Nyquil (except Nyquil Cough), Percocet, Robitussin AC, Stadol, Tylenol, Vicodin ES, and others. Taking large amounts of acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Some of the ingredients in this medicine include acetaminophen, diphenhydramine, and caffeine.
This medicine may cause side effects. Some of the side effects of the ingredients in this medicine include nausea, vomiting, constipation, and dry mouth. The dizziness and drowsiness caused by this medicine may cause falls in elderly patients. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about the side effects of this medicine.
