How to Combine Acetaminophen & Ibuprofen Safely
When you double up on medications like acetaminophen and ibuprofen, you should know how to do it safely. Each medication actually does something different to relieve pain. They can work in conjunction with each other if your pain, is not relieved by only one. Acetaminophen, most commonly known as Tylenol, is an analgesic or pain reliever and fever reducer. Instructions
Read the recommended dosage for each medicine. The medications are usually recommended to be taken every 6 to 8 hours.
Take the first pain medication within the recommended dosage, either acetaminophen or ibuprofen, with water.
Take the second pain medication within the recommended dosage with water, if the first medication is not relieving your pain.
