Understanding Communication During Seizures: Can a Person Respond?

A person in the middle of a seizure may be unconscious or semi-conscious; therefore, they are unable to respond to questions or engage in conversation. They may also be unresponsive to external stimuli and their behaviour is involuntary and uncontrolled.
