Seizure Symptoms: Recognizing Signs and Understanding What to Do
Seizure symptoms can vary depending on the type of seizure a person is experiencing. Some common seizure symptoms include:
* Loss of consciousness
* Convulsions or shaking
* Staring
* Drooling
* Tongue biting
* Incontinence
* Confusion
* Memory loss
* Headache
* Nausea
* Vomiting
It is important to note that not all seizures will have all of these symptoms. Some seizures may only have a few of these symptoms, while others may have many.
If you witness someone having a seizure, it is important to stay calm and call for help. Do not try to restrain the person or put anything in their mouth. Once the seizure is over, help the person to a comfortable position and stay with them until medical help arrives.
