How to Beat Neck Pain
Neck pain is a pain in the neck! A sore neck can ruin your whole day. There are some steps that you can take to reduce and prevent neck pain.

We all spend a lot more time in front of a computer screen these days. Whether reading or working on the computer, be sure to schedule a break every half hour. Get up and move around. Be sure to move your neck around, too!
If you spend a lot of time daily at the computer, invest in an arm rest. This will greatly reduce the tension and stress placed on your shoulders and neck.
If your neck is already sore, use a good, old-fashioned heating pad. Try to stay away from the heating pads that you warm in the microwave. Those seem to cool too fast. Studies indicate that continuous warming from a traditional heating pad is more effective.
Get a smaller purse. Big bags can produce a lot of strain on your neck. Reduce the urge to carry unnecessary items.
