Bulging Disc Symptoms in the Neck
As the spine continues up into the neck, the vertebrae are supported by discs of cartilage. These discs work as shock absorbers and help with flexibility of the spine. When these discs slip out of place, they can either break or bulge abnormally, which reduces mobility in the neck and also can pinch the nerves coming from the spinal cord. Bulging discs can happen anywhere in the spine but are most common in the neck and at the very bottom of the spine.-
