Seizures and Head Injury: Awareness During a Seizure
A person can have a seizure without knowing if they almost hit their head.
During a seizure, the person may experience alterations in consciousness, such as confusion or disorientation. They may also have physical symptoms such as convulsions, muscle spasms, or jerking movements.
As a person is disoriented during a seizure, they may not be fully aware of their surroundings or any hazards that they may be near. Therefore, it is possible for a person to almost hit their head during a seizure without realizing it.
