ST segment depression is a heart condition that is found with electrocardiography. When heart abnormality is suspected, the electrical activity of the heart can be externally recorded by an electrocardiogram.-
Causes

Although the presence of ST segment depression is often caused by myocardial ischemia (a restriction of blood to the heart), it can also be caused by rapid heart rate and electrolyte irregularity.
