The three types of muscle tissue are:
1. Skeletal muscle:
* Makes up the majority of your body's muscles
* Attached to bones
* Voluntary - You consciously control these muscles
2. Smooth muscle:
* Found in the walls of internal organs like your stomach and intestines
* Involuntary - You don't consciously control these muscles
3. Cardiac muscle:
* The only muscle found in your heart
* Specialized for rhythmic contractions to pump blood
* Involuntary - You don't consciously control these muscles
