Icy Hot: Usage Instructions & Benefits for Muscle Pain & Arthritis
Icy Hot is a product that people use for sore muscles, arthritis and back pain. The two main ingredients in most Icy Hot products -- menthol and methyl salicylate -- help to reduce inflammation and release a warming sensation into the targeted muscles. The Icy Hot Vapor Gels for colds active ingredients are camphor, menthol and eucalyptus oil.
Instructions
Icy Hot Patches
Remove the paper backing from the patch (like peeling the backing off a sticker), and place it on the affected area.
Leave the Icy Hot patch on the affected area for up to eight hours.
Reapply up to three patches a day.
Icy Hot Roll
Unroll a section of the Icy Hot roll.
Cut the Icy Hot roll with scissors to any length you desire.
Remove the backing from the strip and place it on the appropriate area of your skin.
Wear the strip for up to 8 hours, but do not use more than three strips within a 24-hour period.
Icy Hot Spray
Spray Icy Hot spray directly onto your skin in the area of muscle discomfort.
Allow the spray to dry.
Spray the affected area again, but no more than three times a day.
Icy Hot Gel
Apply Icy Hot gel liberally to the skin at the site of the muscle aches.
Massage the gel into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
Re-apply the gel up to four times a day as needed.
Icy Hot Vapor Gel Cold Relief
Squeeze a generous amount of Icy Hot Vapor Gel on to the chest area.
Massage the vapor gel into the skin with the sponge applicator that comes in the package.
Apply the gel not more than three times per day.
