IUI Aftercare: Common Symptoms & What to Expect

Immediately after IUI:

* Mild cramping or discomfort

* Spotting or light bleeding

Within a few days of IUI:

* Breast tenderness

* Bloating

* Fatigue

* Mood swings

* Headaches

If pregnancy occurs:

* Missed period

* Nausea and vomiting

* Fatigue

* Breast tenderness

* Frequent urination

* Darkening of the nipples and areolas

It is important to note that not all women will experience all of these symptoms. Some women may only experience a few, while others may not experience any at all. If you are concerned about any symptoms you are experiencing after IUI, be sure to talk to your doctor.
