Incontinence is a condition where the bladder cannot hold urine in properly and leakage can develop. This is usually due to pelvic floor muscles that do not contract and release properly. A number of things can cause this to happen.-

Prostate

Various prostate conditions can lead to incontinence. Some of these include an enlarged prostate, inflammation and prostate cancer.
Pills

Various medications can also lead to incontinence being that they can interfere with proper bladder function. Some examples would be diuretics and sleeping pills.
Consumption

Excessive alcohol consumption can fill your bladder quickly while simultaneously altering your mind, making you not recognize the need to urinate.
