What are the position of kidneys in human body?
Kidneys are located in the retroperitoneal space, on either side of the spine, in the upper abdomen. The right kidney is located slightly lower than the left kidney, due to the presence of the liver on the right side. Each kidney is approximately 10-12 centimeters (4-5 inches) in length, 5-7 centimeters (2-3 inches) in width, and 2-3 centimeters (1 inch) in thickness.Kidney Disease - Related Articles
