Is 122 bpm good for a 5 week embryo?
It is not possible for a 5-week embryo to have a heart rate of 122 bpm or any heart rate at all. At 5 weeks, an embryo is still in its early stages of development and does not yet have a fully formed circulatory system, including a heart. The earliest stages of heart development begin around the fourth week of gestation, but the heart is not fully functional and does not begin beating until around the sixth week of gestation.Infertility - Related Articles
