Can you get your menstrual cycle early from a pap smear exam?

A Pap smear exam does not cause an early menstrual cycle. A Pap smear is a screening test used to detect abnormal cells in the cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. It does not affect the menstrual cycle or cause it to start early. Menstrual cycles are regulated by hormonal fluctuations and are not influenced by a Pap smear exam.
