How is typhus transmitted?

2. Contact with Rat Fleas:
> - Rodents can carry the plague bacterium in their blood, which can infect their fleas.
> - Humans can be infected when bitten by an infected flea.
- People can also be infected by handling an infected animal or its tissue.
3. Contact with Infected Material
- Direct contact with the infected tissues or body fluids of an infected person.
4. Contaminated Food and Water
- In rare cases, contaminated food or water can transmit the typhus bacteria.
