What would it mean for the red death to be more infectious and dangerous then Ebola?

The Red Death is a fictional disease created by Edgar Allan Poe in his 1842 short story "The Masque of the Red Death." It is a highly contagious and deadly disease that causes its victims to bleed to death from every orifice. Therefore ,I can not compare red death to a real word disease.
