Rabies is present in more than 150 countries, in all continents except Antarctica. Some countries with a particularly high incidence of rabies include:

* China
* Indonesia
* Pakistan
* Bangladesh
* Nigeria
* Ethiopia
* Tanzania
* Kenya
* Uganda
Many countries in Central and South America, Africa, and Asia have a high risk of rabies. Rabies is eliminated from most developed countries in Europe, North America, and Australia. However, it is important to note that rabies can occur anywhere, and it is always important to take precautions when traveling to areas where rabies is known to be present.
