Fever & Vomiting in 1-Year-Olds: When to Go to the ER

If the child has a fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, you should seek emergency medical care.
Vomiting can also be a sign of a serious illness, especially in young children. If your child is vomiting frequently, you should also seek emergency medical care.
In addition to fever and vomiting, other symptoms that may indicate a serious illness include:
* Diarrhea
* Lethargy
* Confusion
* Difficulty breathing
* Rash
* Seizures
