Understanding the Dimensions of Illness: Physical, Psychological & Social
There are three dimensions of illness:
* Physical dimension
This refers to the physical symptoms of the illness, such as pain, fatigue, and diarrhoea.
* Psychological dimension
This refers to the psychological impact of the illness, such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
* Social dimension
This refers to the social impact of the illness, such as the loss of employment, social isolation, and discrimination.
