Can HIV be transmitted through lip gloss?

The transmission of HIV requires the transfer of bodily fluids containing the virus, such as blood, semen, vaginal fluid, rectal fluid, or breast milk. Lip gloss, in its typical use, does not come in contact with any of these bodily fluids and therefore is not considered a mode of transmission for HIV.
