What are normal results of bleeding time?
Normal bleeding time: 1-9 minutes
- In the Ivy bleeding time test, a puncture wound is made on the volar aspect of the forearm.
- Blood oozing from the puncture wound is blotted at 30-second intervals.
- Bleeding time is the time required for the oozing to cease completely.
