What do you get when cross a male hemophiliac with female hemophiliac?
Hemophilia is a sex-linked genetic disorder caused by a deficiency in blood clotting factors. It is passed down from parents to children through their genes. Males are more likely to have hemophilia than females because they have one X chromosome, while females have two.
If a male hemophiliac is crossed with a female hemophiliac, the offspring will be as follows:
* 25% male hemophiliacs
* 25% female hemophiliacs
* 25% male carriers
* 25% female carriers
Male hemophiliacs will have the genotype XhY, while female hemophiliacs will have the genotype XhXh. Male carriers will have the genotype XhY, while female carriers will have the genotype XhXh or XHXh.
