Materials
* 2 pieces of fabric (12x18 inches)
* Lavender (1 cup)
* Rice (2 cups)
* Needle and thread
* Scissors
* Sewing machine (optional)

* Measuring cup

* Fabric marker

Instructions
1. Cut the fabric into two 12x18-inch pieces.
2. Place the two pieces of fabric with right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving a 4-inch opening.
3. Turn the fabric right side out and iron flat.
4. Mix the lavender and rice in a large bowl.
5. Use a funnel to fill the heating pad with the lavender and rice mixture.
6. Sew the opening closed.
7. To use the heating pad, microwave it on high for 2-3 minutes.
8. Test the heating pad to make sure it is not too hot.
9. Place the heating pad on your neck, shoulders, or back.
