Head Concussion Symptoms
Concussions are caused by a sudden impact to the head. Symptoms of a concussion can come on suddenly and last for a few days to a few weeks. All suspected concussions should be evaluated by a doctor.-

Nausea or Vomiting

Nausea or vomiting after a head injury is one of the signs a patient needs immediate care by a physician.
Slurred Speech

Slurred speech is normal after a head injury and should clear up quickly. If it does not clear up or if the patient is a child, seek emergency medical care.
Loss of Consciousness

Loss of consciousness is a sign of a major concussion and should not be looked at lightly. If the patient loses consciousness, an ambulance should be called to transport him to the nearest emergency room.
Fatigue

Fatigue after a head injury is common, but patients should not be allowed to sleep before a thorough examination by a medical professional.
