Can you develop bi-polar disorder at age 60?
While the onset of bipolar disorder typically occurs in young adulthood, around 15-25 years of age, it is possible for the condition to develop later in life, including in individuals over the age of 60. This type of presentation is sometimes referred to as late-life bipolar disorder or geriatric bipolar disorder. Late-life bipolar disorder does not present exactly the same as earlier-onset forms of the condition.Genetic Disorders - Related Articles
