Creole Seasoning in Eyes: Safe Removal & First Aid
You should never rub your eyes if they are exposed to seasoning or other food particles. This could cause damage and irritate the eyes. Instead, you should:
1. Flush your eyes with plain water. Use cool, clean water to flush the seasoning out of your eyes. Hold your eye open and pour the water over it for several minutes. Make sure to flush all of the seasoning out.
2. Take a warm bath or shower. The steam can help to loosen the seasoning and make it easier to remove.
3. If you are still experiencing pain or discomfort, see a doctor. An ophthalmologist can examine your eyes and provide treatment if needed.
