Night Blindness Diagnosis: Tests and Procedures
Dark adaptation: Your doctor may ask you to sit in a dark room for several minutes to allow your eyes to adjust. Then, they will flash a light into your eyes and see how well you can see.
Visual acuity test: This test measures how well you can see objects at different distances.
Color vision test: This test checks for any problems with your color perception.
Fundus exam: This exam looks at the back of your eye, including the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels.
Electroretinogram (ERG): This test measures the electrical activity of your retina.
