Decoding Optical Illusions: A Guide to Solving Eye Test Puzzles
Many websites and books offer brain teasers and IQ-enhancing puzzles and games. Each puzzle or brain teaser has a specific solution or trick that can be used to make the puzzle simpler. One common puzzle that users have trouble with is an eye puzzle, which requires you to unfocus your vision or look at a picture from a certain angle to see the optical illusion.
Instructions
Close one of your eyes. Your choice is inconsequential. Move your face close to the monitor or picture.
Look to the circle that corresponds with the eye you closed. If you closed your right eye, look at the right circle.
Move your head back slowly while watching the circle. Look to the second circle: it is gone. That is the secret to solving the eye puzzle. The trick is that with your head so close to the page or screen, your field of vision is too narrow to see the second circle.
