Problems With Widex Remotes

There is basically just one problem that users of a Widex hearing aid remote control will encounter--the hearing aid doesn't respond to the remote. In most cases, the fix is simple.

The Battery Is Dead

• Sometimes the battery is totally drained or is malfunctioning. The battery needs replacement. Just ask your hearing specialist for a replacement.

The Battery Is Low

• If the battery is too low, it can also cause the hearing aid not to work. The same solution applies: ask your hearing specialist for a replacement.

The Remote Is Too Far From the Hearing Aid

• If the remote is too far from the hearing aid, it won't work. The transmitter is not strong enough to reach very far. Just move the remote closer to the hearing aid.

The Problems Is More Complex

• If none of the fixes work, you should talk to your hearing specialist or contact Widex technical support for further help.
