Nasal Vestibule: Anatomy, Location, and Function

The portion of the nasal cavity contained within flexible tissues of the external nose is called the vestibule. The vestibule is the outermost part of the nasal cavity and is lined by skin and contains hair follicles and sebaceous glands. It is separated from the rest of the nasal cavity by the limen nasi, which is a narrow opening.
