Why do your ears pop under water?
Your ears pop underwater because of changes in air pressure. When you descend underwater, the water exerts more pressure on your body, including your ears. This increased pressure causes the eardrum to bulge inward. When you ascend, the pressure decreases, and the eardrum pops back to its normal position, creating the popping sound.Ears & Hearing - Related Articles
