* Gastrointestinal symptoms: These may include abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.* Fever: This is often the first symptom of trichinosis and can reach up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Headache: This is a common symptom of trichinosis.
* Muscle pain: This is the most common symptom of trichinosis and can be severe.
* Eye swelling: This may occur around the eyes and can be accompanied by pain.
* Chills: These may occur along with fever.
* Weakness: This can be extreme and may make it difficult to walk or even move.
* Skin rash: This may occur as small, red, itchy bumps (hives).
* Confusion: This may occur in severe cases of trichinosis and can lead to coma or death.
