Rinderpest Symptoms: Recognizing Signs of the Disease

Symptoms of rinderpest:

- High fever (up to 106°F)

- Dullness and depression

- Loss of appetite

- Nasal discharge

- Salivation

- Diarrhea

- Dehydration

- Bloody stools

- Conjunctivitis (inflammation of the eyes)

- Pneumonia

- Skin eruptions

- Death (often within 1-2 weeks of infection)
