Chia Seeds for Acid Reflux: Relief & Benefits
Chia seeds have been used as currency within the Aztec culture because of the vast amount of uses chia seeds have. Chia seeds are medicinal in nature, and they provide protein, fiber, vitamins, and other nutrients needed by the body to function properly. They are also appetite suppressors, which is one of the reasons they were so highly valued when the Aztecs would go on hunting trips. Teas can be made as well as taking pill forms for acid reflux. Chia gel may be added to foods to help with acid reflux.Things You'll Need
- Chia gel
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
Instructions
Boil pasta as directed.
Heat sauce and add ¼ to ½ tsp. of chia gel to the sauce.
Stir sauce until the chia gel is dissolved.
Serve pasta and sauce as you normally would.
