Test your blood and obtain the US reading. The number that you will get will be in the unit mg/dL. This stands for milligrams per deciliter.
Know that the international unit is mmol/l. This stands for millimoles per liter.
Convert mg/dL to mmol/l by dividing the mg/dL by 18 or multiplying the mg/dl by .055. The result is the US reading converted to International. To convert the International number to the US system, multiply the mmol/l by 18.
