OneTouch Ultra 2: Calibration & Usage Guide for Accurate Blood Glucose Readings
The OneTouch Ultra 2 is a blood glucose monitoring system used by diabetes patients to check their blood sugar. OneTouch Ultra 2 monitoring systems monitor blood placed on test strips and entered into the machine. Calibrating the system to work with the type of test strip you are using ensures you will get a proper readout. Before testing your blood, calibrate the machine to work with the test strip.Things You'll Need

Instructions
Press and hold the "OK" button until the unit shuts off, if it is powered on.
Pull a test strip out of the test strip vial, taking note of the code written on the vial.
Slide the test strip into the top of the OneTouch Ultra 2 with the contacts facing up. Take care not to bend the test strip as you insert it into the unit to avoid damaging the strip. The code from your last strip will appear on the screen. If this is your first time using the machine, "--" will appear.
Press the up and down arrow buttons to change the number so it matches the code on the vial and press the "OK" button. The tester is now calibrated to work with the test strip.
