Can people with type 2 diabetes take insulin or is this only for 1 diabetes?
Insulin can be used for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the body produces little or no insulin. In type 2 diabetes, the body may produce some insulin, but it is not enough or it does not work properly. In both cases, insulin can be used to help control blood sugar levels.Diabetes - Related Articles
