Frostbite Symptoms: Early & Advanced Stages - Causes & Treatment
1. Early Frostbite
- Skin appears pale, numb, and feels waxy.
- Skin may also feel itchy or painful, especially when warmed.
2. Advanced Frostbite
- Skin color darkens and becomes blue, grayish-white, or black.
- Blisters may develop on the affected area.
- The skin may become hard and rigid.
- Painful to the touch, but the area may also be numb.
