Cold Immunity: Can You Get Another Cold While Already Sick?

Unfortunately, having one cold does not make you immune to other colds. The common cold is caused by many different strains of viruses. Because the body develops antibodies to only one strain at a time, it is not immune to other strains. So, it is possible to catch another cold of a different strain even while having a cold.
