Vicks VapoRub for Congestion: How It Works & Usage
Although Vicks VapoRub was invented in the late 1800s, the product still remains popular for treating nasal congestion. According to Vicks.com, Vicks VapoRub Topical Ointment is the best-selling cold/flu product for people ages 2 and up. When you rub the ointment on your skin, your body heat evaporates it, and you inhale the vapors from the active ingredients of camphor, eucalyptus oil and menthol to clear your sinuses. It's a reliable and inexpensive method for cold relief.Things You'll Need
