Healthy Cholesterol Levels for Children (Ages 9-19)
The following cholesterol levels are considered normal for children and adolescents ages 9–19 years
Total cholesterol: Lower than 170 mg/dL
LDL (“bad”) cholesterol: Lower than 110 mg/dL
HDL (“good”) cholesterol: Greater than or equal to 35 mg/dL
Triglycerides (a type of blood fat): Less than 90 mg/dL
