How to Treat Low Blood Pressure Naturally
For most people, naturally low blood pressure is a good thing. However, if your pressure drops too low, you may suffer from dizziness and feel lightheaded, especially if you stand too quickly. Treat low pressure naturally to reduce these symptoms.
Instructions
Include sufficient amounts of protein, vitamins B and C in your diet. Eat small meals. Include milk and fruit with meals. Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
Use herbal treatments that help with low blood pressure. Drink 1 cup of raw beetroot juice daily. Steep the herb Indian spikenard in boiling water. Drink it two or three times a day.
Dissolve Epsom salt in hot water in your bathtub. Soak in the tub for 10 to 20 minutes before going to bed.
Add salt to your food to raise blood pressure. Mix 1/2 tsp. of salt in a glass of water.
Stand up slowly when you have been lying or sitting down for a long period of time. When sitting for long periods, get up and move around every 20 minutes.
Practice deep breathing, yoga and other exercises to help you relax. Work on ways to reduce stress in your life.
