Eye Burning Sensation: Causes, Relief & When to See a Doctor
There are a few things you can do to stop your eyes from burning:
1. Rest your eyes. If your eyes are burning, it's a sign that they're tired. Give them a break by closing your eyes for a few minutes or taking a nap.
2. Use artificial tears. Artificial tears can help to lubricate your eyes and relieve burning.
3. Avoid irritants. Some things that can irritate your eyes include smoke, dust, pollen, and chemicals. Try to avoid these things as much as possible.
4. See a doctor. If your eyes are burning and it doesn't go away, it's important to see a doctor. They can determine what's causing the burning and recommend the best treatment.
