Alcohol Recovery Journal: A Guide to Daily Tracking & Accountability
Recovering from alcoholism is far from easy. For some, it never stops being hard to resist the temptation to drink again. It's a good idea to keep a journal that you write in on a daily basis. It can help you record your struggles and accomplishments throughout your alcohol recovery. It also works as a way to be accountable to yourself.
Instructions
Buy a journal with lined notebook paper inside.
Place the journal somewhere where you will see it every day.
Take at least five minutes a day to write in your journal.
Date each entry, and write anything you want. Write about daily stresses, temptations you faced, as well as methods you used to overcome your temptation.
Look back at your earlier entries whenever you are especially struggling to stay sober. Reading over your earlier methods of abstaining from drinking may help you.
