Motor Neurons: Understanding the Signal Between Brain & Muscles

The signal that's sent from the brain down to the muscles is known as a motor neuron. Motor neurons are a subclass of neurons that carry outgoing impulses from the central nervous system (CNS) to effectors, such as muscles, glands, and some other kinds of cells.
